Return

Becker, Aaron. Return. Somerville, MA: Candlewick Press, 2016.

Return is another title that made its way on to the fifth grade favorites list this year. In this third book in the series which started with Journey, Aaron Becker continues the adventures of the two young people as they travel with their purple and red crayons. In Return, the girl’s father follows them and joins in their adventures.

Return is a wordless picture book. It could be used at any grade level as a writing prompt – having the students write the story they see in the pictures. It could also be used for language development – telling the story they see in the pictures.

Return is available from Amazon and would be a great addition to any library. Thanks for using my affiliate link which helps support this children’s literature blog.
