If I had to pick just one favorite book from childhood, it would probably be Green Eggs and Ham. I think my dad ended up hating this book because I had to have it read to me so many times. Dr. Seuss knew just how to write books children would love – full of nonsense and repetitive text.

This past week I introduced my littles to Green Eggs and Ham. Surprisingly some of them were not familiar with the book. If you are not familiar with the story – Sam is the main character who attempts to get the unnamed other mail character to try green eggs and ham. Sam suggests a variety of scenarios in which the unnamed character just might like green eggs and ham.
