Created with Christian Fiction Reader-Fans in mind: the 2023 ACFW Storyfest! Come be part of ACFW Storyfest (formerly the Christian Fiction Readers Retreat). It all takes place Thursday afternoon, August 24, 2023-Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.

Come celebrate story and your favorite CF authors right on the premises of the ACFW conference—where hundreds of CF authors gather each year.

Why You Should Come to Storyfest By Carrie Turansky 

I’m so looking forward to Storyfest! It’s a great opportunity for you to meet and interact with more than forty amazing authors of Christian fiction!   

I loved attending last year and had some great conversations with reading friends who came from all over the country.  These are the super-readers who love reading, reviewing, and telling friends about their latest great read. They are the kind of readers we authors appreciate so much!  

Writers usually spend most of their time alone while researching, writing, and revising their novels. So having a chance to meet readers face to face, hear their thoughts, and talk about books and life is a huge blessing. Talking, laughing, and sharing a meal with reading friends is so encouraging for me as an author! Discussing books and learning which novels they have enjoyed, and which have had an impact on them, gives me motivation to keep writing books they will love. 

This year at Storyfest we’re looking forward to three days packed with meet and greet time, panel discussions, games, workshops, book signings, worship times, special speakers, giveaways, an amazing bookstore, and lots and lots of swag and books!  

I hope I’ll see you in St. Louis August 24 – 26 where we’ll be celebrating awesome readers, great books, and amazing authors at Storyfest 2023!
