Kathleen T. Pelley has crafted a delightful story about the joy in heaven when God’ children behave in a way that honors him. Five LIttle Angels would make a great bedtime story or book for a storytime.
The five little angels in this story dance with joy each time someone on earth does a good deed. They get so excited that one of them falls. Children will be surprised to see where the angels go, one-by-one.
Dubravka Kolanovic chose pastel colors to illustrate the story. Her illustrations complement the text well and go beyond the story. After having the book read to them a time or two, children should be able “read” the story using the illustrations.
Five Little Angels by Kathleen T. Pelley would be a nice addition to the picture book collection of a K-12 Christian school library.

KATHLEEN T. PELLEY is a native of Glasgow, Scotland, but spent most of her childhood summers playing on her grandparents’ farm in Ireland.
