BOOK EXCERPT #2

I won’t bore you with all the details of that because you’ll find this out as the story goes along.Now, if you were to arrive at the directional points latitude 37.3298 and longitude 98.9956, you would find yourself in Winfield, Kansas. The reason I know this is because it is inscribed in an old piece of wood my daddy made that hangs from a nail on the wall above our kitchen table. I’m not sure where the board came from, but judging by the way he sometimes looks at it, I know it’svery special to him. My name is Abigail Sarah Johnson, AKA Fred. How one comes up with Fred from Abigail is beyond me, but that’s the nickname my daddy gave me and, like everything else he did, it stuck. My daddy’s name is Bernard Cecil Johnson, Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine, AKA Ben. My mama’s name was Cynthia Alley Johnson, AKA Sissy. Daddy and I live on a farm just outside of town where we take in horses, pigs, donkeys, goats, cows, an old crippled black dog, a three-legged cat, and any other animal he feels has been given an unfair shot at life.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR – Ronald Osgood

Ronald Osgood was born in St. Peterburg, FL. At age five he moved with his family to Tennessee. He joined the Marines and married his high school sweetheart. After serving his country and receiving an honorable discharge, he and his wife returned home to start a family. Then Jesus called him, and he responded. He is a simple man with a simple plan. He serves his Lord, loves his wife and kids, and writes stories concerning issues he’s passionate about. The Bible is a fascinating book of the human spirit. It guides him along his journey in life. It is the basis for this book and has inspired him to achieve what he once thought was unachievable.
