MY REVIEW

Vuolo, Jinger and Jeremy. You Can Shine So Bright! Illustrated by Naomi C. Robinson. New York: Worthy Kids, 2022.

I love picture books that help young children understand scripture. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo have taken the Fruit of the Spirit and developed a beautiful picture book, You Can Shine So Bright!. Each fruit gets a two-page spread. Their text really does help young ones better understand what each of the fruit means in the Christian life. 

Naomi C. Robinson created some beautiful illustrations to complement the text. I appreciate the diversity she included – both in skin tones and differing abilities. The illustrations will keep the attention of children as they are listening to the story. 

You Can Shine So Bright! could easily become a favorite family story. It could also find a place in a Sunday school or Bible class lesson on Galatians 5:22-23.

You Can Shine So Bright! would be an excellent addition to a K-12 Christian school picture book section. 

I received a complimentary copy of You Can Shine So Bright! This is my honest review.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR – Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo are known for living out their faith and family values during their years of television stardom. Jinger first appeared on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, and later, the couple appeared together on Counting On. Hailing from Springdale, Arkansas, and part of the Duggar family, Jinger is an avid home cook, gifted pianist, and violinist who uses her talents to support the non-profit organization Swan 4 Kids. Jeremy is a former professional soccer player from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, now enrolled in the graduate program at The Master’s Seminary. The Vuolos live in Los Angeles, California, with their two children.
