MY REVIEW

So many have suffered this past year with not being able to see the ones they love. While none of us completely understand, young children struggle with understanding why they can’t play with their friends or spend time with grandparents. Cassie Hoyt tackles this difficult topic in I Miss You Most. The book would be a great discussion starter between parents and children – what would you do if you could see_____? It would also be a great book for grandparents or other significant people to read virtually to the young children in their lives – they could also discuss what they will do when they are together again. I Miss You Most is also a good book for those with family members scattered far and wide that, even without the current restrictions, they don’t get much time together. Cassie Hoyt understands how little ones are feeling and has written a book to help them focus on getting through their feelings.

I Miss You Most would be a good addition to a K-12 Christian school library. It would be a great read aloud for both librarians and teachers who are helping children with missing time with family and friends. Adults will appreciate that Cassie Hoyt has prepared activities to go along with the book You can discover lots of fun I Miss You Most activities at https://www.cassiehoyt.com/activities.
